Georgia, South Caucasus, the life of the Drags. Characterized by a drive forward, a self-determined way of life, and self-expression as a form of empowerment. It‘s a game that is fun, that has few rules, that is open to all, that is provocative, and potentially consequential - especially in the South Caucasus. Yet, the storm of vibrancy, of reciprocal emotions, of dance, of show, is so powerful and energetic that it can never be broken. It is beautiful that beautiful things happen; they must happen. One must commit to the beautiful, the good, the truth (obviously!), and that is exactly what all of the people I met for A RUNWAY THROUGH TBILISI are doing.
